Reviewers like to put phones through their paces to make sure they don’t
break easily, but the punishment this Galaxy S6 Edge gets is nothing short of
brutal.
We
certainly don’t have the confidence to do what this one YouTube blogger did
with the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
A YouTube channel called X-Ray took the brand new smartphone and slam tested it
on the cold, hard floor three times.
The reviewer puts some real welly into it as well to see if the handset
can take the beating with it slammed in quick succession.
The clip then ends with the hands checking the handset over and proving
all three of the phones displays are still intact.
We thought the Galaxy S6 Edge wasn’t going to prove too hardy with
screens surrounding three sides of the phone, so it’s nice to see it stand up
to the floor.
Obviously those who own it won’t be doing this on purpose but it looks
like it’ll be able to handle the odd accidental tumble to the floor.
No-one
seems to have dared to dunk the Galaxy
S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge yet - like they did with the Galaxy S5 - as both have
lost their water and dust protection.
